Make an Impact Through Insightful Financial Reporting & Analysis We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant II to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting complex accounting processes, and ensuring the integrity of financial results across multiple entities. This is more than a traditional accounting role—you’ll gain broad exposure across business units and finance functions, work on dynamic, high-impact projects, and develop a deeper understanding of how financial statements interconnect across a complex organization.

Requirements

  • CPA or CPA-eligible (actively pursuing or completed educational requirements)
  • Experience with financial reporting and general ledger accounting
  • Strong understanding of how financial statements are constructed and interrelated
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and transaction flows
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Consolidations experience in a multi-entity environment
  • Experience working in a complex or large-scale organization

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support financial statements (GAAP and statutory), including related schedules and disclosures
  • Perform financial consolidations, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions
  • Maintain and analyze general ledger activity, ensuring transactions are recorded appropriately
  • Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and variance explanations to support the monthly close
  • Execute and review account reconciliations, including those involving complex accounting processes
  • Validate system functionality and ensure accounting rules and processes operate correctly
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple finance teams and business units
  • Contribute to and lead process improvement and transformation initiatives
