About The Position

Make an Impact Through Insightful Financial Reporting & Analysis We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant II to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting complex accounting processes, and ensuring the integrity of financial results across multiple entities. This is more than a traditional accounting role—you’ll gain broad exposure across business units and finance functions, work on dynamic, high-impact projects, and develop a deeper understanding of how financial statements interconnect across a complex organization.

Requirements

CPA or CPA-eligible (actively pursuing or completed educational requirements)
Experience with financial reporting and general ledger accounting
Strong understanding of how financial statements are constructed and interrelated
Knowledge of accounting principles and transaction flows
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

2+ years of relevant accounting experience
Consolidations experience in a multi-entity environment
Experience working in a complex or large-scale organization

Responsibilities

Prepare and support financial statements (GAAP and statutory), including related schedules and disclosures
Perform financial consolidations, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions
Maintain and analyze general ledger activity, ensuring transactions are recorded appropriately
Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and variance explanations to support the monthly close
Execute and review account reconciliations, including those involving complex accounting processes
Validate system functionality and ensure accounting rules and processes operate correctly
Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights
Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple finance teams and business units
Contribute to and lead process improvement and transformation initiatives
