About The Position

GALLERYone, a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel is looking for an Accounting / Condo Manager to join the Finance Department! This 231 rooms and Condo-Style suites property is on the intracoastal waterway, less than a five-minute walk from Galleria Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will bring Hilton accounting experience with strong expertise in general ledger, reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting in partnership with hotel leadership. They are highly detail-oriented, excel in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and possess strong communication and leadership skills. Experience working with condo/owner relationships is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the audit function in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts, review discrepancies and problematic accounts and guide staff to follow-up on such accounts
  • Ensure processing and accuracy of reports including, but not limited to, month-end closing, monthly forecast and variance, etc.
  • Control and track inventories of operational, departmental and team member meal budgets
  • Ensure the correct downloading of data into timekeeping systems
  • Manage weekly submission of time and attendance data, including gratuities
  • Calculate and produce daily deposit transmittals for received checks
  • Conduct monthly payroll audits and issue paychecks
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
