About The Position

Kforce has a client in Carlsbad, CA that is seeking an Accounting Clerk. This role will work a hybrid schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Requirements

  • MS Office experience
  • Great Plains experience
  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recording transactions such as expenses and sales revenue
  • Sending bills to customers to request payment for services or goods provided
  • Reconciling accounts and making note of debits and credits that have not posted
  • Printing paychecks and initiating direct deposits to pay employees
  • Generating financial reports as requested
  • Identifying and correcting any errors that occur due to data entry
  • Filing tax returns
