About The Position

Cineflix Media is seeking an Accounting Clerk for their Toronto, Ontario office. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. The position reports to the Director of Accounts Payable & Procurement and supports the accounting team with various financial tasks. The role offers potential for growth, increased responsibility, and professional development based on experience and performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, expense management, or a similar accounting support role.
  • Comfortable managing vendor relations and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, reconciliations) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across financial records.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
  • Experience working with accounting systems (Microsoft Great Plains preferred, not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated reliability and accuracy in completing financial and administrative tasks.
  • 2–3 years of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Review, code, and process invoices with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Track and process employee expenses, maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain vendor relations, including responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform reconciliations, including credit card reconciliations, using Microsoft Excel.
  • Support reporting activities and maintain financial records using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain and update records within accounting systems (Microsoft Great Plains preferred).
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to support financial operations.
  • Follow up on outstanding items and assist with problem-solving.
  • Other duties as assigned.
