The Accounting Clerk position is responsible for providing accounting support within the Fiscal and Accounting Department by researching and gathering data from both billing and accounting software systems. The Accounting Clerk performs a variety of general accounting tasks such as: Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents, or records. Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial transactions. Reconcile company and subsidiary records. Data Entry in spreadsheets and databases Bookkeeping tasks such as categorizing transactions, reconciling bank statements, and generate basic financial reports. Use and create advanced Excel spreadsheets (Pivot Tables, V Lookup, and other enhanced features) This position works part-time, 3 days per week (18 or 19 hours total) within the Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm time frame. No Evenings, No Weekends, No Holidays!
