Responsible for the timely and accurate posting and maintenance of accounts including the proper application of credit adjustment procedures. Responsible for timely and accurate posting of accounts Processing of credits and paymentsCommunicate GSC Delivery and Credit adjustment procedures to customers and inter-company departments to ensure proper posting of receivables. Courteous and tactful communication with customers in resolving accounting issues. Maintain orderly and effective filing system Performs research and other projects in conjunction with daily responsibilities Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One (1) year prior office experience preferred. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Mathematic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to compute rate and percent. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
