About The Position

Essential Job Functions: Enters statistical information into computer system. Data entry, filing, scanning and other clerical duties as needed. Keys journal entries and generates various accounting reports. Summarizes, calculates and records numbers on various documents. Processes payroll, accounts payable, and inventory control as applicable. Reviews, reconciles and verifies documents for proper completion. Assist with monthly inventories including the warehouse, marketing, cage, retail and beverage outlets. Investigates any discrepancies identified while performing the above functions. Performs W2G preparation, input, and balancing. Files documents as necessary. Meets attendance guidelines of the job. Adheres to regulatory, departmental and property policies. Responsibilities Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands: Must be able to continuously maneuver around office, effectively work at a desk and respond to written and aural cues. Must have the manual dexterity to operate the computer and other necessary office equipment. Must be able to respond calmly to demands of internal customers and work in pressure situations. Must work some weekends, holidays and late schedules when needed. Must be able to work independently. Must be self-motivated and able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Qualifications Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent is required. Six months previous accounting and audit experience required. Must be able to operate a computer keyboard, and ten key adding. Must have the ability to understand procedures and gaming regulations and adhere to them. Must be flexible to work any day of the week. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Must be able to work well with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
