About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, Microsoft Word Processing software, SAP, and Diver.

Responsibilities

  • Applies all received payments to accounts and general ledger daily.
  • Prepares and balances daily bank deposit; maintains daily report of deposits.
  • Identify returned checks/reversals and forward them to Controller and Sales.
  • Collects payments for NSF checks, noting files and written communication with customers and the Attorney for the WSWT.
  • Contacts "nearly due" customers to prevent them from becoming overdue. Collects overdue accounts and notifies Office Manager, Sales Manager, and Sales Representative of any overdue accounts.
  • Pulls reports daily and reviews delinquent accounts with salesmen.
  • Responds promptly to customer requests for copies of invoices and/or credits.
  • Communicates and corresponds with warehouse, sales representatives, and customers to reconcile payment discrepancies and aged AR.
  • Maintains record of closed accounts, license transfers, temporary license voids, and locks/unlocks accounts.
  • Runs and maintains 31–60 Day Reports, as required by State.
  • Acts as Company liaison for the State ABC for Closed Permits, Temp Void, and No Buy accounts, documenting customer accounts and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Permit changes – processes inventory move from closed permits to new permits.
  • Assists with reconciling prior day driver deliveries, documenting missed COD payments and check issues.
  • Opens and distributes incoming mail.
