About The Position

About this opportunity: Perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other duties as directed by supervisor. Follow all Salvation Army accounting policies and procedures related to proper accounting and internal control. Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in accounting plus two years' experience in accounts payables and accounts receivables
• Five years' experience in accounts payables and accounts receivables and the ability to successfully complete an internal accounting test.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.
• Ability to process large volume of data entry on a daily basis.
• Ability to manage user login credentials to various websites.
• Ability to perform light typing.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner by telephone and through written correspondence.
