About The Position

We are looking for a business audit intern to join our team! As an intern, you will perform a variety of professional audit work under general supervision. You will have the opportunity to work with business clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate, and professional services. This internship is full-time (40 hours/week) starting in January 2027, running through mid-April. Upon successful completion of the internship, full-time employment opportunities may be available. Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Responsibilities

  • Build on knowledge acquired in college to gain a functional level of technical and operational knowledge to proficiently perform assigned tasks.
  • Prepare and self-review workpapers in conformity with standards including scope/objective/procedure/conclusion, adequate supporting documentation, and tickmark and workpaper cross-references.
  • Communicate with clients on-site, by phone, or e-mail to obtain accurate information and relevant supporting documentation to support workpaper conclusions.
  • Draft audit reports and other engagement documents.
  • Perform analytical and detailed work with numerical data efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilize and develop a functional understanding of firm software and internal workflow/procedures to manage binder documentation and maintain client information.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment when working with confidential client matters.
  • Provide assistance as needed to the department team.
  • Gain an understanding of the importance of networking and business development.
  • Participate in professional organizations and begin to develop a business network.
  • Develop an awareness and understanding of and comply with the Firm's code of ethics, independence rules and quality control practices.
