About The Position

The Accounting Associate performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Conduct or help document accounting projects. Your work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. You will prepare, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Provide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget. Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports. Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas. Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and require minimal direction and receive guidance where needed. Follow established guidelines/procedures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 5 years of experience with SQL, Access
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions and features
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or Master's Degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant license
  • Prior experience in public or corporate accounting
  • Strong technical accounting skills
