Requirements

• Attention to detail and great organizational skills
• Forward-thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Minimum of 2-3 years of general accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications

Nice To Haves

• Commercial real estate accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of Yardi software is also a plus

Responsibilities

• Bank statement processing and reconciliations
• Mortgage statement processing and reconciliations
• Verbal verification of banking information
• Vendor onboarding and maintenance
• Vendor audits (W-9s, 1099 status, TIN/address checks)
• 1099 preparation and processing
• Vendor, owner, entity, and property setups
• Assist with filing and payment of annual state filings
• Assist with filing and payment of annual business licenses
• Assist with real estate tax bill processing
• Provide supporting documentation for audit requests
• Generate report files for tax preparer
• Miscellaneous filing and scanning
