The Accounting Associate will have a primary focus on commission processing, including reviewing and analyzing commission data, ensuring accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and providing timely support to internal stakeholders. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, commission processing, accounts receivable, financial operations, or a related area; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Quickbooks.
  • Advanced level excel experience
  • Ability to analyze information and resolve issues
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication skills, data entry skills, and math skills

Responsibilities

  • Processes commission calculations and payments accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Reviews commission data for completeness and accuracy and identifies discrepancies requiring additional research.
  • Create, review, contract process flow.
  • Utilizes Excel to analyze commission data, perform reconciliations, validate calculations, and prepare recurring reports.
  • Enters data into accounts receivable general ledger accounts
  • Monitors commission-related adjustments, corrections, and outstanding items through resolution.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve commission processes, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency.
  • Assists the Finance department with various accounting and administrative responsibilities
