Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, or equivalent education with ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Some familiarity with an ERP system preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to analyze information and resolve issues
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication skills, data entry skills, and math skills

Responsibilities

  • Review service and equipment forms for accuracy and completeness before billing
  • Communicate with internal teams to gather missing information and resolve billing issues
  • Enter and maintain financial and operational data in accounting systems
  • Assist in compiling data for monthly financial reports
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, forms, and supporting documentation
  • Reconcile inventory across routes and warehouse locations by comparing system data to physical counts and operational records
  • Partner with operations teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely adjustments
  • Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure data accuracy
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team as needed
