Whitley Penn, one of the nation’s leading audit, tax, and advisory firms, is looking for an Accounting Associate to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (“CAAS”) – Outsourced Accounting team! The Accounting Associate is expected to demonstrate a basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping skills. With the ability to appropriately apply them to a wide variety of clients under the supervision of experienced professionals. Assignments will include diverse accounting and bookkeeping tasks to build your skills in advising clients on their financial operations. Proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online as well as Microsoft Office Excel is required for this position. Performance is evaluated based on the quality of work, application of accounting knowledge, and ability to meet specified time constraints and deadlines.
