Requirements

Associate's degree in Accounting
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Solid understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC regulations
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and terminology
Accurate and efficient with data entry and basic math calculations
Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
Detail oriented with strong time management, accuracy, and organizational skills

Experience with Great Plains Dynamics

Responsibilities

Processing invoices using AP automation and ERP software
Reconciling employee credit cards and expense reports
Processing drop shipment invoices from vendors and outgoing invoices to customers
Managing the general accounting emails and working with the team to resolve customer and vendor invoice issues
Assisting with vendor reconciliation and other month-end close processes
Providing back-up support for Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
Ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and SOX requirements, including supporting internal controls, testing, and documentation
