Requirements

  • Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or An Associate Degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits of accounting.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and process invoices while ensuring accuracy and resolving vendor concerns
  • Run reports and review documents to identify items needing action across the district
  • Enter and verify account coding for purchasing card transactions and assist staff with corrections
  • Establish and maintain project numbers and files for state and federally funded work
  • Assist staff with SAP Finance issues and help maintain accurate accounting records
  • Complete filing, copying, mail tasks, and other duties as assigned to support office operations
