About The Position

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Utah State University (USU) accounting student to assist with daily accounting tasks. This includes supporting accounts payable, data entry, general ledger account reconciliation, and preparing accounting schedules using Microsoft Excel. The position is part-time during the academic year and can be full-time during the summer, depending on the student's schedule. SDL offers a Student Scholar Program that provides students with real-world experience, monthly technical workshops, outreach activities, and academic stipends, allowing them to expand their professional networks while contributing to SDL's mission of delivering advanced multi-domain solutions for national security and scientific discovery.

Requirements

• Student currently enrolled with Utah State University majoring in accounting
• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person
• Able to support SDL student work schedule (15-20 hours per week during the school year during business hours and 20-40 hours per week during the summer)
• Self-motivated and able to follow directions
• Ability to work with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
