About The Position

BRG’s Accounting & Technology teams help clients analyze complex financial, operational, accounting, technological, and business issues in connection with legal, regulatory, and investigative matters. The team supports corporations, boards of directors, legal counsel, insurers, and other clients by turning complicated records and data into clear, reliable insights. As an Associate, you will support teams working on complex financial and legal matters, including commercial disputes, healthcare disputes and investigations, business insurance claims, forensic investigations, cyber investigations, international arbitrations, advisory engagements in banking and healthcare, and business valuations. You will gain hands-on experience analyzing data and business records, developing financial models, preparing client deliverables, and supporting expert teams throughout the dispute, investigation, and regulatory compliance process. You will build your technical skills and contribute to work that shapes important legal and business outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics or other related subject, with an expected graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
  • 3.6 GPA or higher preferred.
  • Strong quantitative, research, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-service environment.
  • Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Willingness to consider becoming a CPA.
  • Candidates must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with statistical, data analysis, or programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Fluency with AI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, accounting records, operational data, and other business information.
  • Support damages analyses, business interruption calculations, valuation work, claim preparation, and investigative findings.
  • Assist with reconstructing financial information, developing financial models, and identifying key trends or anomalies.
  • Help prepare expert reports, trial demonstratives, presentations, exhibits, and other client deliverables.
  • Support client interviews, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, discovery efforts, internal controls assessments, and risk mitigation work.
  • Collaborate with professionals across finance, accounting, economics, technology, data management, and legal disciplines.
