ACCOUNTING ANALYST - BLOOMINGDALE, IL
About The Position
The Accounting Analyst will assist the Division Controller and Asst Division Controller in analysis and support of the Midwest Division finance area. This role is responsible for the weekly closing of all lines of business systems (Ivend, One Market, One Cup, and One Warehouse), analyzing data to assist in correction and working on over/shorts involved in the business. The analyst will also assist with acquisitions by reviewing and managing data and training new associates, training new associates and/or assisting branches with all lines of business systems, engaging in the use of financial systems to collect and report data, assisting in month-end close activities, and completing Excel spreadsheet analysis as directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in field of general finance and/or accounting and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting functions
- Advanced experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, and other advanced formulas), ability to pull data together with an eye for formatting/presentation
- Strong communication (written, verbal and presentations) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision
- Exposure/Knowledge of SAP preferred
