About The Position

Primary responsibilities of an Accounting Analyst is to assist the Division Controller and Asst Division Controller in analysis and support of the Midwest Division finance area.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience in field of general finance and/or accounting and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting functions
Advanced experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, and other advanced formulas), ability to pull data together with an eye for formatting/presentation
Strong communication (written, verbal and presentations) and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
Exposure/Knowledge of SAP preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for weekly closing of all lines of business systems- Ivend, One Market, One Cup and One Warehouse
Responsible for analyzing data to assist in correction and working on the over/shorts involved in the business
Assist with acquisitions by reviewing and managing data and training new associates
Training new associates and/or assist branches will all lines of business systems
Engage in the use of financial systems to collect and report data
Assist in month end close activities
Complete excel spreadsheet analysis as directed
