As an Accounting Analyst I – Revenue Accounting & Analysis, you will play a meaningful role in supporting core accounting functions across the organization. You will contribute to financial analysis and reporting that informs management decision-making, while also identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology and automation. Curiosity, attention to detail, and a drive to improve how work gets done are key to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field with a strong accounting focus
  • Minimum of one (1) year of accounting experience in the energy industry or successful completion of an accounting internship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Communicates effectively and collaborates across teams and departments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential or actively pursuing CPA certification
  • Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field with a strong accounting focus may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned month-end activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, SEC reporting, and variance analysis
  • Prepare, maintain, and enhance schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support internal and external audit requests by providing accurate documentation and clear explanations
  • Collaborate as a team member on accounting and finance-related projects
  • Process and analyze large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and automation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
