About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Consolidation and External Reporting Finance team. In this role, you will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, IFRS disclosures, and regulatory filings, contributing to an accurate and timely close cycle that meets the expectations of investors, regulators, and our external auditors. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to develop deep expertise in listed-company reporting requirements, IFRS standards, and enterprise consolidation systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, external audit, or corporate accounting; Big 4 or professional services experience is a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS required; exposure to listed-company disclosure requirements or SEC reporting is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is an asset.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines during close and reporting periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with consolidation tools (Oracle FCCS, HFM, or similar) is preferred.
  • Pursuing or intending to pursue a professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in a finance or accounting context is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly and quarterly consolidated financial close process, assisting in data gathering, reconciliations, and variance analysis in preparation for external reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of the IFRS Consolidation Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Statement of Comprehensive Income, and Statement of Cash Flows ensuring accuracy and consistency with the underlying general ledger and management accounts.
  • Prepare IFRS disclosures for quarterly and annual reporting periods.
  • Support data integrity of the Financial Closing and Consolidation System (FCCS), including mapping validation, and governance tasks under the direction of the consolidations governance lead.
  • Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules and tie-out packages for quarterly earnings releases and annual report filings, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required.
  • Prepare U.S. legal entity based financial statements and respond to information requests to support tax strategy, the U.S. Controllership team and U.S. government reporting.
  • Support the U.S. Controllership function in maintaining accurate accounting records for U.S.-based legal entities, escalating issues or discrepancies as appropriate.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests as required.
