About The Position

As an Accounting Administrator at IMT Residential, you will play an important role in supporting the community’s financial health and delivering an exceptional resident experience. You will handle a mix of administrative, bookkeeping, and customer service responsibilities while collaborating closely with the Community Manager, Assistant Community Manager, and Leasing Team. You’ll be a key team member, helping to maintain accurate records, resolve resident account concerns, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping, administrative support, or customer service; property management experience is required
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn property management software like MRI
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and a desire to grow within a professional and fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work occasional weekends based on business needs
  • A valid driver’s license

  • A college education in business or a related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review resident ledgers to ensure accuracy
  • Track rent payments and assist with month-end financial procedures
  • Reconcile petty cash and support other on-site funds management
  • Monitor delinquent accounts and issue late notices
  • Assist with the collections process and support legal coordination
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents regarding account and billing concerns
  • Assist the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager with operational and financial tasks
  • Support the Leasing Team with application processing, marketing efforts, and community tours as needed
  • Use MRI software to enter data and generate reports
  • Keep community records and files organized and up to date
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the team
