We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator to join our team at Bob Weaver Auto. Job Overview: The Accounting Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of dealership accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience in GL accounting, preferably within the automotive industry and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail – Ensures accuracy in invoices, and financial records
  • Integrity and confidentiality – Handles sensitive financial, payroll, and customer data with utmost discretion
  • Dependability – Consistently meets daily, weekly, and monthly accounting deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills – Manages high-volume paperwork and multiple accounting functions
  • Problem-solving mindset – Identifies discrepancies and resolves issues efficiently
  • Strong data entry and reconciliation skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
  • Ability to prepare reports for management and controllers
  • Maintains organized, auditable financial records
  • Clear and professional communication with internal departments, vendors, and upper management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Customer-service oriented when handling internal and external inquiries

Nice To Haves

  • proficiency in Google Sheets a plus.
  • proven experience in GL accounting, preferably within the automotive industry and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile health insurance and warranty accounts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
