About The Position

Join a manufacturing company as an Accounting Administrative Assistant with the ability to multitask while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills are a plus.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Accounting or compatible work experience
  • General knowledge of accounting and understanding of general ledger accounts
  • Knowledge of computer applications: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access
  • Must be proficient in data entry and management.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under general supervision
  • Ability to meet all assigned deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Peachtree knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks and accounting and non-accounting-related duties
  • Approve Sales Order/Purchase orders.
  • Ability to assist as necessary in other general ledger management tasks.
  • Preparation of Payables for check runs and cutting checks in Accounting software
  • Researching and locating missing PO's, including duplicates, when time permits, if applicable to work group
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other related company programs.
  • Prepare correspondence to employees and clients as requested.
