The Accountant role at Everon involves a blend of leadership, financial management, and operational oversight. This position is responsible for leading a support team, developing talent, and fostering employee engagement. The Accountant will collaborate with various business units to execute the overall business plan, manage budgets including P&Ls, and oversee office infrastructure and financial activities. Key responsibilities include managing collections, accounts payable, payroll, cash processing, order entry, billing, and dispute management. The role also involves administering the fleet program and ensuring efficient paper flow processes while maintaining compliance and ethical standards. A significant part of the role focuses on implementing corporate-wide initiatives, driving customer experience, process improvements, and talent initiatives. The Accountant will be instrumental in analyzing and improving job cost processes within the Spectrum system, collaborating with operations and project management teams, and understanding the financial impact of operations. This role requires strong analytical skills to manage monthly labor transfers, inner-company transfers, and quarterly QIP calculations, as well as the ability to identify and correct issues within the Spectrum system. The Accountant will also be responsible for processing physical inventory and becoming an expert in the Spectrum system to train and supervise others. Protecting the integrity of data within Spectrum and understanding its integration capabilities are crucial. The Accountant will lead the admin team and ensure all processes protect data integrity.
