About The Position
Our well-established client in the greater Schenectady, NY area is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with a strong foundation in GAAP and a background in accounting across multiple entities. Responsibilities of the Accountant will include: Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements across multiple business entities Develop and analyze monthly cash flow projections Collaborate with managers to assess and communicate operating forecasts and results Assist with the planning, preparation, and review of annual operating budgets Support various special projects as assigned by management Qualifications of the Accountant: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required) Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Previous experience working in a CPA firm is a plus Familiarity with leasing, property management, or real estate industry preferred Experience with Yardi is highly desirable Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting-related business systems Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $55,000 - $75,000. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required)
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting-related business systems
Nice To Haves
