About The Position

Perform various financial reporting and analysis activities. Preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and inter-company transactions. Analyze trends in forecast and variances to budget. Effectively communicate financial outcomes and results of analysis performed. Participate in process improvement initiatives and other projects, as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and experience in preparation of periodic financial reporting packages
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, detail-orientated
• Strong excel and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

• Insurance industry experience is not required
