About The Position

The Accountant maintains financial records, including assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities within the organization. The role may maintain the general ledger, analyze financial data to prepare reports, and generate and interpret financial records and statements for management. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of an Accounting Shared Services Center environment.
• Ability to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP).
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficient knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
• Professional communication skills, including phone, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Time-management and time-critical prioritization skills.

Responsibilities
