This role is responsible for performing month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations for Alloyworks. The Accountant will also work with AP clerks and Operations/Engineering to ensure timely posting of receipts and reconciliation of vouchers payable. Additionally, the position assists with SOX control compliance, annual physical inventory procedures, and monthly PA/NC Sales & Use Tax Filing. The role involves maintaining capital project spend tracking files, reviewing capital spending submissions, and managing the fixed asset listing for Alloyworks and Morgantown. Daily/weekly reporting on inventory and variances, financial analysis, and training/assisting AP clerks are also key functions.
