Spronk Brothers is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to help manage financial operations, maintain accurate records, and provide valuable financial reporting to company managers and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Basic understanding of tax basis accounting
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- agriculture experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records and accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage general ledger accounts and cost tracking for farm projects
- Assist with year-end close and tax preparation support
- Collaborate on accounting projects and process improvements
