Techvera is looking for a dynamic Accountant to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the COO, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, enhancing processes, and providing leadership with valuable financial insights. Requirements

3-5 years of accounting experience; public accounting or M&A experience strongly preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting, including considerations for multi-entity, multi-location structures
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and NetSuite (or similar accounting software)
Solid account reconciliation experience
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong time-management abilities and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

MSP or professional services industry experience preferred
Experience with recurring revenue models and subscription billing
Process automation experience

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and supporting reconciliation documentation
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across all accounts
Perform account reconciliations including bank, AR, AP, and intercompany accounts
Support month-end close processes and accrual entries
Oversee AR/AP processes and ensure timely, accurate processing
Manage the billing process including recurring MSP agreements and project-based work
Drive AR collections performance and resolve billing issues through completion
Support implementation of AR optimization initiatives and dunning processes
Supervise payroll accounting process and work collaboratively with HR and other departments
Ensure accurate payroll-related accruals and reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Provide variance analysis and commentary for monthly reporting, including budget-to-actual reports
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand and support financial operations as we build department and business-line P&Ls with clear visibility into margins and performance
Support ad hoc financial projects and special analysis as needed
Streamline accounting workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
Support automation initiatives and ERP system enhancements
Contribute to SOP development and documentation of financial processes
