About The Position

The Accountant is an important member of Lake Region Healthcare’s Finance team. The role assists with preparation of monthly financial statements for Lake Region Healthcare and related entities, as well as additional bi-weekly and annual reporting requirements. The Accountant interacts with hospital employees, volunteers, community personnel, administration, and providers. The position requires effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. The Accountant establishes work procedures and priorities while meeting imposed deadlines. This position is scheduled for 80 hours bi-weekly, on day shifts, Monday through Friday. The work is performed at the work site according to schedule, though a hybrid work location may be considered. Compensation is $30.23–$39.66 per hour; final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or three years of work-related experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Adequate computer and keyboarding skills.
Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process.
Ability to attend the work site according to the schedule.
