About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join the accounting team at Gorilla Glue. This role is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, reconciliations within a fast-paced manufacturing or consumer products environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong experience with: Accounts Payable
General Ledger accounting
Month-end close
Account reconciliations
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry preferred
Oracle Fusion experience is a plus
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Perform daily accounting operations, including but not limited to participating in full accounts payable cycle.
Perform daily General Ledger activities, Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
Analyze Accounts payable data and identify discrepancies or process improvement opportunities
Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and finance
Assist with accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations
Support process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting functions
