About The Position

As the Accountant for Minneapolis Golf Club, you will support the financial team in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This position is responsible for processing and reconciling Accounts Receivable transactions and managing the membership database as well as other accounting functions. What you'll do for us: This role is responsible for processing and reconciling daily cash receipts, credit card transactions, and accounts receivable data from all department point-of-sale systems. The position works closely with Catering and Banquet staff to invoice outside events and manage billing for Club events, while also reconciling specific General Ledger accounts and ensuring adequate cash is maintained for various events. Additional responsibilities include handling all tasks related to member account billings and balancing, tracking delinquent accounts, and preparing related correspondence and reports. The role also involves maintaining accurate member files, assisting with Accounts Payable as needed, and preparing a variety of spreadsheets and schedules. Support is provided for journal entries and financial statement preparation, along with assisting in bi-weekly payroll processing when required.
