About The Position

Outreach is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its Finance team on a part-time basis. This hybrid position requires working in the Colorado Springs office two to three days per week and remotely on the remaining days. The Accountant prepares financial statements, reconciles accounts, analyzes financial data, and helps maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and analyze accounting records and account activity.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review financial information for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with accounting operations and process improvements.
• Coordinate accounting activities with other departments.
• Research and resolve accounting issues as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.
