About The Position

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Lincoln . In this role you will complete accounting functions, including month-end close, consolidations, sales/use tax, and prepare, and analyze financial information and reports that provide summary information for management use in making financial decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance discipline
2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
Proficient with accounting systems and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong understanding of financial concepts such as Budgets, Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA)
Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, key financial ratios, internal controls, and disclosure and financial reporting requirements
Strong computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Fixed asset accounting and audits
Expense report accounting, tracking, and audits
Assist with treasury functions
Prepare various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports and statements including income statements, balance sheets, management reports, tax returns and reports for governmental regulatory agencies.
Make necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information
Examine accounting information contained in reports and exhibits and trace and reconcile unusual variances
Perform complex account reconciliations
