About The Position

Our client is seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring the integrity of accounting data. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and GAAP
Experience with ERP/accounting software
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Public accounting experience preferred
QuickBooks experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform general accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, and overhead allocations
Assist with the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial statements
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including cost analysis and budget variance reporting
Support treasury reporting and cash management activities
Maintain accurate financial data within the ERP/accounting system
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, reconciling items, and reporting issues
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits and tax filings
Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements
Participate in special projects and perform other accounting duties as assigned
