About The Position

The Accountant at Main Line Services works in the Finance Department and reports to the Senior Accountant. This hybrid role requires working onsite two days per week. The Accountant assists with the monthly general ledger closing and prepares assigned analyses on a timely basis to support journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Responsibilities include preparing Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, and Change in Net Asset lead schedules, variance analysis, and subsidiary ledgers.

Requirements

• A B.S. in Accounting is required.
• Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Office applications and other department-specific software.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience as an accountant preferred.
• Accounting experience in the healthcare field preferred.
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly general ledger closing.
• Prepare assigned analyses on a timely basis to support journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, and Change in Net Asset lead schedules.
• Prepare variance analysis and subsidiary ledgers.
