About The Position

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center is a 229-bed, acute care hospital located in Enid, OK, serving the healthcare needs of northwest Oklahoma for over 100 years. We host more than 125 highly skilled physicians offering a wide range of specialties. This position is responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts and cash activities, including related journal entries and analysis. The Accountant will assist other staff and managers in all finance activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Additionally, the role supports the Controller in preparing financial statements and packages for UHS Corporate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field required.
• Basic computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Excel.
• Good typing skills.
• Ten-key by touch.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 year’s previous experience as an accountant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and cash activities along with related journal entries and analysis.
• Assist other staff and managers in all finance activities to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist Controller with financial statements and package reported to UHS Corporate.
