About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the finance department to help drive business decisions. As part of our team, you will contribute to maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, and federal financial regulations.
