ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Completes entries and reconciliations associated with the global consolidation process, including by not limited to, currency translations and intercompany eliminations. Assists management in the research of global generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS) requests/questions from investors and executive management. Ensures global consolidated balance sheets and income statements are consolidated and reconciled monthly within published deadlines and stated in accordance with GAAP. Monitors changes in GAAP reporting requirements and works closely with management to ensure accurate GAAP presentation of the company’s global financial statements. Monitors and maintains compliance of company’s consolidations policies, procedures and internal controls. Assists management in the research and explanation of global monthly budget variances and prepares monthly budget variance reporting as required by management. Responsible for preparation of GAAP monthly financial analysis, cash flow statement, and other ad hoc financial and accounting projects as assigned. Monitors and maintains compliance with company policies, procedures and internal controls. Communicates issues and other applicable information to management. ADDITONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the organization's quality program(s). Travels as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions. Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent with major in accounting required.
  • Six (6) years accounting and financial reporting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and practices
  • Obtain and maintain expertise of financial systems such as SAP and other systems utilized in the consolidations of the company’s financial statements
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
