About The Position

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition for a global software and SaaS business operating at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional finance teams to support revenue close activities, contract reviews, and reporting in line with US GAAP and ASC 606. This position offers strong exposure to complex revenue transactions, modern ERP and CRM systems, and continuous process improvement initiatives. It is well suited for an experienced revenue accountant who enjoys precision, collaboration, and learning in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute directly to financial accuracy, audit readiness, and operational excellence while building a solid foundation for long-term growth. The role combines technical accounting rigor with opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and data quality across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, completed or in progress
• 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 4+ years in revenue accounting
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, with hands-on exposure to US GAAP and ASC 606 preferred
• Experience or academic background in revenue recognition for software or SaaS environments
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to learn and work effectively with ERP and CRM systems
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and clear communication abilities
• Motivation to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate recording, reporting, and reconciliation of revenue in compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606
• Review and validate sales contracts and agreements to assess revenue recognition implications
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including variance analysis
• Maintain accurate deferred revenue schedules aligned with contractual terms
• Work within ERP and CRM systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Prepare supporting documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests
• Collaborate with senior accountants and finance partners to ensure adherence to accounting policies
• Contribute to automation, process improvement, and cross-functional initiatives related to revenue
