About The Position

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong SaaS experience who can manage end-to-end revenue operations in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment. The Revenue Accountant will own ARR, MRR, churn, expansion metrics, invoicing, collections, and vendor setup, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. You will collaborate closely with Finance, RevOps, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success teams to support accurate forecasting, reporting, and operational decisions. The position provides the opportunity to scale and optimize revenue processes, implement automation, and ensure audit-ready practices. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant SaaS exposure
  • Strong expertise in revenue accounting and SaaS ARR metrics
  • Hands-on experience with Maxio or similar revenue management systems
  • Proven experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 and compliance requirements
  • Ownership of invoicing, collections, and AR processes
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote environment
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end revenue accounting for a high-growth SaaS business, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
  • Maintain accurate ARR, MRR, churn, expansion, and other key SaaS metrics, aligning revenue with billings
  • Manage the invoicing process, including billing setup, schedules, reporting, and system integrations
  • Oversee customer collections, AR aging, dispute resolution, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Success
  • Administer vendor setup processes with accuracy and adherence to internal controls
  • Handle revenue, billing, and accounts receivable across multiple entities and currencies, including FX considerations
  • Lead revenue-related activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Review customer contracts with Legal, Sales, and Deal Desk for proper revenue recognition and billing treatment
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to optimize revenue operations
  • Maintain clear documentation, policies, and controls to support SOX-ready and audit-ready practices
