Great American Insurance Group's Reinsurance department is hiring an Accountant. This department ensures compliance with accounting requirements under various reinsurance agreements, accurately reflects reinsurance transactions in financial statements, purchases Corporate Catastrophe Covers, and performs portfolio-level catastrophe modeling. The Accountant will compile, consolidate, and analyze accounting and finance information for statements, schedules, filings, and reports. They will also assist in maintaining standardized accounting reports, review and evaluate procedures, reconcile journal entries, and coordinate accounting matters with other departments and external customers.
