About The Position

Find your purpose as an Accountant Lead with the Treasury department at CentraCare. This position requires an advanced level working knowledge and experience with US GAAP, with an ability to research accounting guidance as needed and apply complex accounting concepts. The individual must be self-directed and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and exceptional attention to detail. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and producing timely reports for CentraCare Health entities in cooperation with other accounting department staff and others throughout CentraCare Health.

Requirements

Advanced level working knowledge and experience with US GAAP
Ability to research accounting guidance as needed and apply complex accounting concepts
Self-directed and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and exceptional attention to detail
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent field or Associate Degree in accounting + minimum of 15 years' accounting experience
Minimum 6-10 years accounting experience
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be flexible and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree
CPA or CMA
Experience with Oracle software or similar general ledger software
Healthcare industry knowledge

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate financial records
