About The Position
HomeTown Pharmacy is looking for someone who’s detail‑oriented, financially minded, and comfortable discussing financial statements with people at all levels of the organization. This position reports directly to the Director of Accounting and requires a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and flexibility while supporting HTP’s Management Team and living out our mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related business degree
- Thorough Knowledge of GAAP
- Organization and exceptional communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities
- Handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks like A/P, payroll (bi‑weekly), sales reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment and sticking to established policies and procedures
- Jumps in on special projects and planning with the Supervisor when needed
- Stays current on industry rules, trends, and new tech to keep things compliant and efficient
- Keeps the workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly
