About The Position

Responsible for cost standards, cost of goods sold, and inventory valuation. This role involves coordinating with various departments such as Purchasing, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure accurate cost data for new products, pricing strategies, and financial reporting.

Requirements

Experience with cost standards, cost of goods sold, and inventory valuation.
Ability to coordinate with Purchasing for new item and subcontract costs.
Experience with annual cost standard updates.
Ability to work with Engineering on costs for new product development.
Skills in complex job costing coordination.
Experience with ECN review and approval.
Ability to support Marketing to understand costs for pricing.
Experience working with Sales & Marketing on price book revisions.
Proficiency in monthly inventory calculation, reconciliation, and journal entries.
Experience supporting royalty agreement calculations and journal entries.
Experience with PPV review.
Ability to prepare and analyze margin analysis reports.
Experience with month-end journal entries.

Responsibilities

Responsible for cost standards, cost of goods sold, and inventory valuation.
Coordinate with Purchasing for new item and subcontract costs.
Perform annual cost standard updates.
Collaborate with Engineering on costs for new product development.
Coordinate complex job costing with variation engineer’s quotes.
Review and approve ECNs (Engineering Change Notices).
Support Marketing in understanding costs to set pricing in configurator software.
Work with Sales & Marketing when the price book needs revision.
Perform monthly inventory calculation, reconciliation, and prepare monthly journal entries.
Support royalty agreement calculation, journal entries, and associated submissions.
Review PPV (Purchase Price Variance).
Prepare and analyze margin analysis reports.
Prepare and post various other month-end journal entries.
